ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. Abstract guidelines: –
- Types: Poster and Oral presentations (Original Research/ Case Report/ Case Series/ Review Articles). Please specify the category (poster/ oral) during submission.
- Under-graduate (MBBS) students and Post-graduate trainees are not allowed to present Review articles.
- Language: English.
- Word Limit: 300 words (excluding title, affiliations, references and keywords).
- Font style, Font size, and Spacing: Times New Roman, font size 12, spacing 1.5.
- Format: Structured format in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) with the following headings:
- Original Research: Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results, Conclusion.
- Case Report/ Series: Introduction, Case history, Examination and Findings, Discussion, Conclusion.
- Title should be clear and precise, written in bold, with the first letter of each word capitalized.
- The name of the authors and affiliation should follow immediately under the title, highlighting and underline the name of presenting author.
- Keywords: Include 4-5 keywords at the end.
- No references are to be included in abstract.
- Graphs, Tables, and Images not to be included in the abstract.
- Submission: Only through the link provided in the website www.necasicon2025.com. Submission of abstract by any other means will not be accepted.
- Last date of submission: 15/12/2025.
- Notification: Presenting authors will be informed about the acceptance/rejection of their abstract via registered email by 15/01/2026.
2. Important points to remember:-
- Maximum Submissions: one registered delegate can submit a maximum of two abstracts, comprising of one oral and one poster.
- Only the presenting author will get the certificate.
- While mentioning the names of the authors, the surname should be first followed by the first name.
- All presenters must declare that their presentations (Poster / Oral) have not been presented elsewhere.
- For original research article, a copy of the ethical clearance is to be uploaded while submitting the abstract.
- Abstracts once submitted will be treated as final and cannot be changed further.
- Please note that IAFM Life Membership is mandatory for Competitive Sessions.
- The souvenir committee of the conference reserves the right to edit the abstracts as deemed necessary for publication in the souvenir.
- Please note that the decision of the Judges will be final and binding to all concerned for competitive sessions.
- Please note that Registration is mandatory for presenting any paper/ oral presentations
- Please note that IAFM life membership is mandatory for competitive sessions, except for Undergraduate students, including Interns.
